Assigning Categories to Items

Organizing items into categories makes browsing and bidding easier for your participants. Potential categories include food and drink, family fun, date night, and sports.

To assign categories to items:

1. Log in to the Dashboard and load your Auction.
2. Click the Items tab from the left navigation, then choose Online Items.
3. Add a new item or edit an existing item to which you would like to assign a category.
4. On the Edit Item page, choose the Categories tab for the item.
5. Click the Select Category dropdown to assign an existing category or add a new one.
6. All categories created will be saved to your categories dropdown list.
7. Click Save in the top right corner.
